6 stages. 9 months (March to November).

Project Work is Officially over.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Today the whole JC1 cohort squeezed into the library in an attempt to sort out their Group Project File(GPF) in order. It was noisy and crowded but no one cared. Not even the librarian.
Virtually everyone was rushing to print the cover page. Out of 4 printers, only one was working. Not a wonder why in this mad rush.

As my group passed up our file, I didn't feel sad or extremely happy. Just a sensed of relieve.

Much as PW could be named as Project Worthless along with the calls for it's abolishment, maybe all of us did learn something after all. Yes, it was irritating. Yes, it did cost many of us sleepless nights. But at the end of they day, we all learnt something. Besides finding out more in our field of research, we most importanly learnt vital skills. Writing skills, Presentation skills, Problem solvings skills. What we did over the past year is apt of what we are going to face in the outside world. We can't expect everything to fall the way we want it. It not going to happen. Challenges faced now are probably small compared to the working world. Imagine if we really have to carry out our showcasing, we will be facing even more problems that doesn't reveal itself on paper.

20 years from now, maybe some of us will be thanking the presence of Project Work. Maybe. We often detest things that are good for us. Just like studying, exercising, eating healthy.

Project Work maybe is not so pointless after all.

For the next J1 batch, welcome to PW =P
