Sure, the final is not featuring exciting teams such as Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Germany etc. But still, it is a world cup final. I believe both teams would rise to the occasion and play their hearts out.


This game hold much importance to players such as Zidane and Thuram who would retire from international football. Totti and Makelele and other ageing stars may follow suit too.


The occasion doesn't have to be bigger for the players to give their best shot.
