Colosseum 2008.

One full cycle.

There was always the bitter-sweet feeling with the coming of colosseum. Happy in the sense that there would be one less major project to do. Sad in the sense that this would be our last major event as a house comm.

It was great to see so many people turn up for it, partially cause they locked all gates which was rather ridiculous but necessary.

The highlight of this annual event is always the cheerleading. Callisto did better than i expected, perhaps even better than last year. The costumes are so Pro-Fresh-Shen-Nal. They looked amazing in it. Credits to Beverly and team for choreo the moves and putting together the music and other stuff. Spendid.

Track events went on smoothly. Well done Azy! We did a great job planning.

And so i refereed a few Gladiator's Ball events and it didn't go on with the best of moods. Tempers flared and so on. I apologise to whoever was affected by my refereeing and it wasn't intentional that i didn't blow for a foul. Perhaps i got a taste like what a real referee feels like when we shout REFEREE KAYUUUUUUUUUU at him. Food for thought.

Well, that was the only major blemish of the day. I can't describe how elated i was when the annoucer revealed we were champions. To win the title on the last event of your tenture is really really something to be glad about. It's simply was like a fairy tale ending.

I was talking to Kevan on the way for dinner. Our conversation was about how fast our 1 year in office has ended (if not officially). We had a good talk on the events over the past year and how we first met each other etc.. Once again this nostalgic feeling resurfaced again.
