I'm back to cilvilisation again.
Leadership training camp was fun. Much much better than i expected. I imagine it to be like secondary 3 camp. Boring and Sian but surprisingly it wasn't. One of the best camp i ever attended.
The camp site was nice although the bunks were a bit dirty. The bath amenties were better than i expected. I had no complains about food. The standard of it was sastisfactory. The food gets better and better by the day.
I was in
Group D: Dagama!
My group was super super fun. I believe one of the most fun in camp. We did everything together as a team. We showed great teamwork. We were like all hype up and enthu majority of the time. We came up with lame cheers and twisted some old cheers for the fun of it. We ended up with a bunch of retarded cheers but it was great.
All the games we played were fun but there was a moral behind every game we played. Every game taught us something about leadership which is really vital. Sometimes the smallest of detail can make a difference between success and failure.
I used to detest debriefing a lot as my attitude was in the direction of ''can i hurry up go now?'. But now see that debriefing is imperative as it lets you evaluate the whole process and which lets you to take note of failures and allows you to make necessary changes to ensure you have a better campaign in the future.
I made quite a number of friends, some of which i never realised existed in school before. It was a smashing camp and i think it was almost worth every penny that i (was forced to be) paid for it. And like what Louis said: Finding time to play soccer was the best.
I think i now beg to differ.
