I just got back from the cinema not too long ago.
Finally i got to watch 'Just Follow Law'.
I must say it's rather fun to watch with my relatives. Pre-show highlight was the exchanging of food, titbits and drinks before the lights were dimmed. We were passing stuff everywhere.
The show itself was hilarious. Very funny.
Putting aside all the humour, based on my understanding, the show tried to broadcast two messages:
1) People must learn to be flexible
2) Filial piety
The government is portrayed by a organization that is sometimes inflexible. Everything must be written down clearly in black and white. It also reveals how complicated the goverment is. People must learn sometimes to break the rules at their own digression and not follow the rules blindly or just to play safe.
Filial Piety is also another message that is not really brought about clearly. It is a value that our current generation as probably forgotten. I think it's really important to repay the hand that feeds you.
Now for the critic part. I though certain parts of the show was quite obscene which isn't really suitable for children perhaps under 14. No further explaination needed. That was the only flaw in otherwise quite a good movie.
I enjoyed myself throughly.
And the only regret? Forgetting to open the packet of cheezels.
