On Both occasions, Liverpool came from behind to draw.

What a comeback.

What a game.

What a Final.

With the score 3-2 in the 2nd half injury time, I thought it was all over. It was hard to believe West Ham would lose at that point of time was so many Liverpool players down. I nearly cried when Gerrard blasted the ball from 35 yards into the net. It was just sheer jubilation. Undescribable. Simply stunning.

Extra time isn't worth mentioning. Finnan, Gerrard, Riise, Sissoko were all suffering from cramps. So did Harewood. The game was virtually at walking pace.

Penalties. Jose Reina the Hero. Saves from Zamora, Konchesky and Ferdinand was enough to win.

Liverpool win 3-1 on penalties.

How Liverpool came back to win it i really don't know. Lightning just stroke twice in two succesive years. Credits to West Ham though for putting up a really strong fight. Call that luck or what?

Gerrard and Reina hailed Liverpool from the dead. Amazing stuff.
